A good story with lots of action with Train robberies， house robberies and kidnapping。 This story kept me interested and was a page turner。 Hettie was a delightful character as were Vince， Jack， Susannah and Martha。 The scenery descriptions were great as well。

Egos and overcoming hurtsI didn’t expect the number of egos here。 They did keep things interesting。 The outlaws were definitely vile。 Their motives are downright ridiculous， all because their egos were bruised。 As for the main couple， I expected the struggle in the relationship。 I actually didn’t expect instant attraction because all I was thinking of was it was a mail-order bride situation。 The build up of the story was fair and the ending was sweet， a little rushed， but sweet。
